What We Do
Our Services
Ezekiel House Inc. provides food (hot meals/sandwiches), clothing, personal toiletries. and one-on-one guidance to obtain city and county resources. We assist with job training and placement, receiving counseling for drug addiction, abusive situations and permanent housing that will develop self-sustaining citizens.
SHORT TERM SHELTER
Short Term Shelter activities are designed to provide stability for individuals and families as well as shelter from the elements with the goal to focus on creating a tangible plan for direction and setting short term and long-term goals.
SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE & MENTORING
We work one on one to bring the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ to our clients. Our ministry focuses on helping clients put a plan together through the teachings of Jesus Christ. Some activities include: weekly prayer meeting, group discussions, empowerment model and meet and greets.
EMPLOYMENT ETHICS TRAINING
We recognize that people who are homeless will not succeed without life skills and a positive attitude. Even if they were to complete job training and be placed in a job, they are likely to fail without the proper resources and consistent coaching and mentoring.
EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE
Job readiness activities are designed to help participants set long-term goals and overcome barriers to personal success. Case managers will help them resolve barriers and problems that traditionally have led to failure, address personal problems which have prevented them from holding a job.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We encourage community and family involvement. Activities to foster this include volunteering with other ministries, Let’s Talk about It sessions, Family Affair Night and Game Nights.
LIFE ENCOURAGEMENT
We want our clients to know that no matter the challenge there is always hope and opportunity through the gospel. We work with them to reset their current mindset to open their eyes and minds to what can be in their present moment and in their future.
SELF-SUSTAINING DEVELOPMENT
As clients begin to build a foundation of stability we delve deeper into helping them to develop the life skills needed to keep them on track to stable housing and help them with the ability to keep it. Helping them to realize that they are part of larger and caring community.
